Kipp Brewer is an in-demand DFW trumpet player, music educator, and conductor. He recently graduated with two masters degrees from Southern Methodist University in both performance and conducting where he studied with renowned teachers and performers Tom Booth, Ryan Anthony, and Dr. Jack Delaney. Kipp formerly maintained a private teaching studio of approximately 30 students in DFW, but now directs middle school and high school bands full-time. In his 2018-2019 year at SMU, he was fortunate to have enjoyed over 50 hours of time on the podium conducting the Meadows Wind Ensemble. His former honors include receiving fellowships from the Round Top Festival Institute in Round Top, TX and Summer Brass Institute in Menlo Park, CA and his graduate assistantship as the assistant conductor of the Meadows Wind Ensemble at SMU.
